New Zealand Destination Management Company, Vokali, has a new General Manager with the recent appointment of Lee Picken.

Lee joins Leisure Time Group as General Manager of Events, responsible for their two event brands; Vokali, and, Lime & Soda.

 

Lee brings significant events experience having recently left NZ National Fieldays Society where she managed nine annual Fieldays events. In her 20+ years in the events industry Lee has also worked as Business Development Manager at ATEED, Bureau Manager at Destination Queenstown, Project Director at PCO ForumPoint2, and Incentive Manager at Spark New Zealand (Telecom).

 

Leisure Time Group Managing Director, Scott Mehrtens, said it was a very exciting time for the Group and their business event division, “We are thrilled to welcome Lee to our team. She is a very well-respected member of the events industry, with great rapport built over many years with a wide range of stakeholders from exhibitors and sponsors to suppliers and celebrities. Lee will be joining other Lime & Soda and Vokali team members at BEIA’s tradeshow MEETINGS in Ōtautahi Christchurch, 15-16 June 2022.
